Gorgeous and etheral bridal inspiration all the way from Italy. We love this modern and stylish take on the bridal fashion, and simplicity and cool blue tones and nuances enhance the winter beauty. Valentina Oprandi captured all the beauty this creative team put this together.
White snow is the key player of this shot, it offers a light caressing the bride face, making her ethereal. Cold air coming from the mountains softly embraced her. He was captured by her steely eyes. With her fiery hair she feels like to be part of those mountains since ever. Queen of the ice and mountains, everything about her matches with the surrounding environment. This shooting has been influenced by Nordic inspiration, where natural elements act as a master and come close with the rest. This also explains the choice of a model with dedicated characteristics: red hair, light skin and Nordic somatic traits.
As location we have chosen the bed of a snowy and frozen river: place were the valley streams meet. The cold was the basic and essential pillar, helping to create the appropriate atmosphere, and snow helped to give the needed light.
For the dress, created by “Sogno Atelier” from Turin, it has been chosen a color convenient for the scenario and in the meanwhile harmonious with the model’s complexion. A simple and feminine dress, made unique by the decoration on the front, and the slightly backless, with a shallow and fine fabric.
Model’s make – up and hair styling have been assigned to Make-Up artist Paola Bianchera. In regards to the hair, she selected accessories of her own creation, framing the model’s face, giving her a fairy-tale appearance.
Floral arrangement was followed by “Alice dei Petali”, which gave space both to seasonality than to territoriality. For instance, as table decoration, thistles have been chosen, as well as delicate buttercups, snow-white tulips, eucalyptus leaves, white Hypericum berries, and grey Brunia berries.
Man dress was designed and manufactured by “Atleirer Lineo”, using a soft, lightweight and dust grey color fabric.
For the stationery, “Poeticalligraphy” has created a handmade coordinate, on cotton paper, with a very thin calligraphic style, sinuous and elegant. White ink, watercolor and handmade envelopes have been used.
“Qualcosa di Dolce” laboratory has created a real poem for the eyes and palate: a marble cake, leading the dessert table, together with sophisticated pastries.
“BonBons di Josette” was in charge of the table design and ceremony setting. Thanks to their obsessive research for details, they have been able to create a simple and in the meanwhile refined, elegant table, reproducing a setting outside of time, unreal.
